Here's what I'm trying to say:
The Job I’d Like to Do
I’d like to be a newspaper reporter. Since I like to ask questions anyway, it would be nice to be paid for it, and I might have the chance to interview interesting people. On the other hand, I would not like reporting on political speeches, or car accidents, or changes to garbage pickup schedules. Perhaps I could specialize in travel reporting—that way I’d get to ask questions about places I want to visit. Ah, the perfect solution! Now I just have to convince the paper to hire me, and how hard could that be?
1) Is "je pourrai" an appropriate translation for "I might"?
2) Is there a better way to express the ironic meaning of "how hard could that be?"
Thanks for any help.
