Correction of a few sentences [imaginary CV?]

Hi

We are working on making a body paragraph for an imaginary CV (high-school french) where we are to provide an impersonal back story of our character..

It's still a work in progress, but so far I have this.

Comme démontré dans mon CV, je ne me rendais que compte plusieurs rôles d’importance dans l’enceinte des études géosciences, ayant fini mon maitrise doctorat de géosciences en
1996, en choisissant se spécialiser en paléontologie, mais aussi, j'etais le
fondateur de La Société Paléontologique. 

(As shown in my CV, I have not only realized several roles of importance in the centre of geoscience studies, having finished my doctorate of geosciences in 1996, choosing to specialise in palaeontology, but I was also a founder of the Palaeontological society"

I'm a bit confused, i wanted to use the phrase "only"... and I also remember reading that we use the phrase se rend compte when describing something that we've realized or achieved? Since it was a past action but also describes a state of being, I thought the imparfait was to be used
