Hi, I'm translating (or at least attempting to!) a film review (from French into English) and I'm really struggling with the following phrase (the underlined bit)

 

On rencontre Georges, pere de la future mariee, qui est un homme egoiste et colerique avec lequel les mots valsent vite contre les murs. Les coups aussi, on le devine.

 

Any help at all would be very much appreciated!

I notice that you always forget to put the "accents" on the words. They are not there as a decoration lol anyway this is a quite complicated sentence to translate because there is a figurative expression: "les mots valsent vite contre les murs". I guess it means that this guy, Georges, is easily rude and violent.
