I would like to send a christmas card to my daughter's french teacher at nursery and although I could send her a normal one I would like to send it in french. I am struggling to get the right grammar from my school french of 30 years ago. Can someone please help? I don't want to sound like a complete idiot. i thought something like "Merry Christmas to a special French teacher" for the front and just a simple christmas greeting inside. I have got as far as Joyeux Noel but I am not sure about french teacher-is it professeur de francais or would this be too formal? Any help appreciated.

>Joyeux Noel professeur!
Thank you so much.
Depends on where she learned French from. If she's from France, "professeur" is okay. If she's Canadian, I'd highly recommend you use the feminine word: "professeure".
I sort of wondered if there was a feminine version- She is French but I would prefer to use the feminine version. Thanks.
