Hi, first time to this place. Looking good so far(:

For my homework I got assigned to write a paragraph, 30 words, double spaced on school supplies I do and don't have for class. Sounds simple, right?

Well it isn't. My teacher hasn't even taught us school supplies and she's forcing this on to us. I got through it so far but I need help with my last sentence. I want to say..

"These are the school supplies that I do and do not have for French class."

I've tried translators but I'm sure that the teacher can figure it out so I needed actual people help.

Thank you in advance for everything! I wish to become a fluent speaker in the future(:

To translate the sentence you mention into French requires a reasonable grasp of French grammar. If you've really reached the level where you've mastered the various grammar points necessary, I would expect you to also have learnt how to use a dictionary and other web resources for finding translations of vocabulary.

If the specific problem is how to say "school supplies", then I'm guessing your teacher is expecting you to search in a dictionary/other available resources to find a suitable translation. So is this the bit that's causing you problems? If it is, maybe you need to ask your teacher for some guidance in using the dictionary, or what resources they'd recommend?
Hint: school supplies = fournitures scolaires.

Now, for the sentence itself, give it a go, post what you come up with, and we'll review it.
Ce sont les fournitures scolaires que j'ai et n'ont pas pour la classe de français.

-It's probably really rough and stuff but I'll keep looking for my French Dictionary which I lost somewhere.
*Also, I wasn't sure how to add the accents so it's without accents too.
Almost: Ce sont les fournitures scolaires que j'ai et que je n'ai pas.

To sound a bit more natural, you can add "celles": Ce sont les fournitures scolaires que j'ai et celles que je n'ai pas.

And to sound even more natural, replace "Ce sont" by "Voici" or "Voilà": Voici les fournitures scolaires que j'ai et celles que je n'ai pas.
Thank you very much for the help! I really appreciate it! Thank you!

Have a nice weekend!
