I recently purchased a picutre. It has a palm tree and a picutre of a flamingo on it with the words unes belles demures and  further down it says un placaise. (it's hard to read). I have tried to put it though the translation process, but no luck on the un placaise part. was wondering if someone may have an idea....

Is it hand-written ? Maybe it is "une belle demeure - un palais", but i don't see the link with the flamingo !

its hand written so it's hard to decipher. flamingos, palm trees.... in the upper right corner it reads Une belles (d)emeures. ( I put the d in parenthesis b/cuz that's what it looks like to me.  and then in the middle it reads "un placaise" ( but then again, the "l" after the p is throwing me off. I don't know if it's part of the painting because it's rather large.  it could be placca  isl . It's just hard to read so i'm even wondering if i'm writing it correctly.
maybe each home a castle?
