Back in the sixties there was a movie in which there was a song going 'O, dis le dis le moi, quand vas-tu te décider à me passer la patte d'oie?' What does that mean?

Patte-d'oie means crow's foot. In your song, I don't see what it is the referrence.

The only use I know referred to the similarity with the crow's feet :

 - wrinkles in the outer corner of the eyes as the result of aging

 - roads junction

 - set of 3 tendons at the level of the knees.

 

In the song it's referred, perhaps, to something which looks like a crow's foot. Do you have all the lyrics? or can you give the title of the movie?

I wonder if by any chance it's "...passer  la patte-d'oie" (without the "me"), in other words something like "get out of the junction and decide what turning to take", "decide where you want to go in life".

 

I tihnk it would be worth double-checking the exact lyrics.

 

Could also just be nonsense that's not worth worrying about-- lyrics frequently are...

I do not have the complete lyrics nor the title of the movie. I seem to remember the song had to do with a proposal of marriage.

I wonder if this should be le paté d'oie -- goose liver paté. That would make sense in the context.
