Austen translation
A character in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, asks "What are men to rocks and mountains?" (Volume II, Chapter 4). The question is probably rhetorical, implying that men are not worth much compared to rocks and mountains. What would be a good idiomatic French translation of this sentence?

Yes that would be fine too!
I gave the translation that is to be find in the French version
we could also have
Que sont les hommes face aux rochers et aux montagnes...?
