i know this as "to pack."  The dictionary also has it informally as "to thrill":

  

"Ses idées ne m'ont pas emballé - I wasn't thrilled by his ideas"

It also has it as "to arrest, to steal; to seduce, pick up"

Are these usages all ones I will here?
