The activity of a frimeur is....frimage?

Hello, I'm curious as to how you'd describe the activity of a "frimeur"?  Le frimage doesn't sound quite right...?

I think it describes more the effect than the activity, but the word frime exists.

You could also say e.g. c'est du bluff.

There's also the sarcastic expression M'as-tu vu?, which I think can be the frimeur or the frime.

Regardez ces étudiants! Bande de m'as-tu vus!

Elle est sorti dans ses nouvelles fringues pour faire un peu de m'as-tu vu.

"frimage" doesn't exist in french. There are no words in french to refer to the "activity" of a "frimeur", because, when you're saying that someone is a "frimeur", you're not referring to his actual state of being, but to the idea you have of it.

"frimeur" refers to someone who likes to show that he is skilled in doing something, or that he is in some way superior to his kinsmen.

"m'as-tu-vu" means exactly : "someone who whants to be seen by the others".

"c'est du bluff" means "it is not real, it is artificial".
