Thank you so much, Adel!
Hello Dana,

I think it's Il a pris un mauvais tournant.
hi Frank here I assume you are saying he took THE wrong turn?
Hi Adel.

Can you explain what the expression you'd like to translate actually mean? English isn't my native language, so I might have misunderstood it.

"Il a pris un mauvais tournant" means that for some reason, he made bad choices and the situation is getting worse every day. As if he became a full-fledged alcoholic just after his girlfriend left him.
Hello Frank,
I'm trying to say that as he was driving, he took a wrong turn. For example, he was supposed to turn right, but be turned left instead. Thank you so much for your help.
Oh ok, it wasn't an expression then, sorry.

So it should be Il a pris la mauvaise direction.
Thank you so much. This helped me a lot!
No problem Dana. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
he took the a wrong turn, I understood it in the context of driving and turning left instead of right. english is not my native language and neither french. Just trying to help mais au meme temps je n'aimerais pas foutre la pagaille dans le goupe.
