Hey i'm completely uneducated in French. I've written a song in French because: a) it's a beautiful language, and b) the meaning of the song lies in the emotion, rather than the words. I just want to make sure that I've conjugated everything correctly and that I haven't said something like "I like cheese." Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, and any help with pronunciations that may be difficult for a non-francophone would be wonderful.
Here they are:
Ennui,
Laissez moi.
Je suis paralysé
Et brisé.
Oú sont les amis qui avaient été promises?
Que vais-je faire maintenant?
Weariness,
leave me.
I am paralyzed
And broken.
Where are the friends that were promised to me?
What am I going to do now?

Hi,
Just 2 things :
1. I would say :
Ennui,
Laisse moi.
Because Weariness is singular.
2. If you use amis then it's promis. If you want promis then say amies.
If you want to say that were promised to me then, in French, it become qui m'étaient promis(es)
qui avaient été promises means that have been promised.
