"pointer" versus "enfoncer"
i have on a study card the sentence "il a pointe' sa canne dans mon dos" translated as "he stuck his cane in my back." i just looked at "pointer" in the dictionary and it doesn't seem to b right. it seems "enfoncer" would b right. maybe u wouldn't use "enfoncer" cuz the cane didn't really penetrate the body whereas a knife would. Tx
