'Le homard du Maine, ne nourrit plus son pêcheur.' From Le Monde today.
The Maine lobster does not feed any longer from fishing?
What a ludicrous mess I know I have made of this - and earned quite a few laughs in the bargain.
Please put me out of my misery. What the devil does the headline actually say?
Thnks

the new york times reported that due to warm weather, there's an overabundance of lobster, hence very low prices. so it must be that "nourrir" is meaning "sustaining" rather than "feeding" -- the Maine lobster is no longer sustaining his fisher.
Superb ! Thnks!
