Literal equivalents of the following are possible in Italian.  Are these possible in French?

 

1. Je voudrais l’avoir fait.  For:       I wish (now) I had done it.       (or)

                                                        I’d like to have done it.

      1a. Je voudrais qu’il l’ait fait.  For:  I wish (now) he had done it.  (or)

                                                                   I’d like him to have done it.

2. J’aurais voulu le faire.  For:       I was wishing (at that time) I would do it.  (or)

                                                       I would have liked/wanted (at that time) to do it.

2a. J’aurais voulu qu’il le fasse.  For:  I was wishing (at that time) he would do it.   

                                 (or)    (at that time) I would have liked/wanted him to do it.

 

3. J’aurais voulu l’avoir fait.  For:       I was wishing (at that time) I had done it.  (or)

                                                             I wish (now & in the past) I had done it. (or)

                                                             I would have liked to have done it.

 

3a. J’aurais voulu qu’il l’ait fait.  For:  I was wishing (at that time) he had done it.

                                                          (or)  I wish (now & in the past) he had done it. 

                                                          (or)  I would have liked him to have done it

Oui, la traduction littérale en français est exacte. Yes, those literal translations are possible and in proper French.

Bravo, not only are you correct, but your linguistic approach is commendable. The 3 romance languages, close to me, French, Italian & Spanish have such intriguing evolutionary paths. Some times cognates are shared by only 2. Très curieux.
