Hi, I'm translating a film review from French into English, and I'm totally stuck with this sentence, in particular the underlined bit:

L'existence de Sonia, entre ce mari peu commode et ses trois autres enfants, apparait dans le halo de fatigue qui doit sans cesse l'aureoler malgre les teintes chaudes de cet appartement de cite.

Any help at all would be very much appreciated! (For one thing, who/ what is actually the subject and object of the verb aureoler?! and is 'teintes chaudes' being used figuratvely here?)

merci bien!

Hi, I think it is Sonia that is the subject of the verb "auréoler". She is aureoled by this "halo de fatigue".
