How do you say something is not good?

Would it be n'est pas bien?

It is not good for your health. = n'est pas bien pour la sante.
Is this correct?

Also how would you say not doing in french?

For example not doing exercise?

Thanks.

I believe n'est pas bien pour la santé is correct, yes.

In literal translation, not doing would be ne faisant or ne pas faisant. However, you wouldn't use that in sentence construction. Your example would simply be N'exercisant pas.
Sorry, assuming that you're talking about physical exercises, I guess it should be Ne s'excercisant pas.
If you want to say that someone doesn't do any sport or exercises then you can translate it by "ne pas faire d’exercices". And it is more correct to use "pas bon" rather than "pas bien" to say that it's not good for the health.
