French history DVDs
I'm looking for a nice box set of DVDs of documentary history on France. Any will do -- but with two strict requirements,
1. It must be in French.
2. It must have an option for turning on English subtitles.
Other things that would be nice, but not required.
* covers the enlightenment 1600-1800
* The host is on scene next to relevant palaces and cathedrals and fields of battle.
* Similar to Leonid Perfenov's Russian Empire, but about France instead.
* Was a series on public television in France.
