The following is a list I've made of French words that resemble English ones but in reality are different. I'm not interested in words (such as "poison" and "six" and "fiancé") that are the same in both languages. Would you care to add to this list?

librairie
Excellent! But it would have to be in the plural (libraries) for this list since the singular English word is spelled "library". Thank you very much, Dai.
Adding "gland" which in English translates to "acorn".

Assist and bless are not French words, but I can add coin, net and piece to your list.

Drat! I was careless with "assist" and "bless". Thank you for pointing that out!

I'm pleased to add "coin" and "net". I'm unfamiliar with an unaccented "piece", though. What is its meaning?

Nothing, I just thought we weren't after accents here. :D

'piece' is a word that can translate as 'room' and also 'play' (as in an acted work of the stage).  However, there is an accost on the 'e'.

Very disturbing words for me in english : actually and eventually!

Pourquoi est-ce que ses mots anglais vous inquiètent, lauris ?  Comprenez-vous la difference entre les deux ?  Comment-on peut vous aider ?

Actually, they aren't disturbing anymore to me. But when I started to learn english, I couldn't remember their translation. But eventually, I managed to get it =)

But I think that those words can be deceptive for people learning french or english

Bien fait !
