I'm born in this city and I consider it my hometown
If you're going to visit ....(name of city), I recommend you to go to the center of the city.
It is really a great place to go shopping. You will find any kind of stores.
If you want to go to the touristic places, there is a tourbus which goes to all the touristics places of this city.
I also recommend you to visit museums, for example ...(name of museum). It tells you a bit about the history of this city and country.
Because Dutch food unfortunately isn't that tasty, I recommend you to eat at any restaurant that doesn't offer this kind of food.
I recommend you to go to ...(name of city) during the spring or summer, because the autumn and winter can be very rainy and cold.
The summers can also be wet, so I recommend you to take an umbrella with you at any time out of procaution.
I can go on and on about what you can do in this city, but the best will be if you see this city for yourself. I'm sure you will fall in love with this city once you saw what it has to offer.

Aujourd'hui, je vais vous parler de ma ville. C'est... .

Je suis dans cette ville; c'est donc ma ville natale    (I've a little changed the idea of the sentence. It's more natural).

Si vous visitez ..., je vous recommande d'aller dans le centre-ville.

C'est un excellent endroit pour faire du shopping (faire les magasins if you don't want any English word). Vous trouverez toute sorte de magasin.

Si vous voulez vous rendre dans les lieux touristiques, un bus vous amènera visiter chacune d'entre elles  (I've changed some things too).

Je vous recommande également les visites de musée, par exemple.... Vous aurez ainsi un aperçu de l'histoire de la ville et du pays.

La nourriture hollandaise n'était pas très bonne (pas très réputée), je vous invite à vous rendre dans les restaurants qui n'offrent pas cette nourriture.

Je vous recommande de vous rendre à ... au printemps ou en été parce qu'il pleut beaucoup et il fait très froid en automne et en hiver.

Les étés peuvent être également humide; il ne faudra pas oublier, par précaution, de prendre un parapluie.

Je pourrais continuer à vous raconter ce qu'on peut faire dans cette ville, mais le mieux c'est de s'y rendre pour le découvrir soi-même. Je suis certain que vous tomberez amoureux de cette ville dès que vous aurez découvert ce qu'elle offre/propose.
