Hi-

I am planning to give a gift to a French student who I have been working with in Lille, France - I have been helping with her association at EDHEC, the CCE, and want to give her a final congratulations gift.

She is a avid traveler and I chose a small piece of luggage, but I want to add a sweet message.  The lovely girl has had a hard year personally so I am asking for some help in translating a saying that I like for this occasion.  In English it says,

"To abolish all valleys is to get rid of all mountains."

The most lovely mountains surely await you.

Can I ask for help in a sweet translation which resembles the tone of the above?  Thank you!

Well I will try:

Sans vallées vous n'aurez plus de montagnes.

Les plus belles montagnes vous attendent assurément. or  Assurément les plus belles montagnes vous attendent .

As I am not French  this can probably be improved upon.
