I am not sure about the words 'comme un rien'.

Your sentence is fine (but the typo: "mètres", not "méters").
However, "comme un rien" is an old expression. You can still find it in litterature but we almost never use it nowadays.
We would just say
Il court 400m sans (aucun) problème
Il court 400m sans (aucune) difficulté
just like in English in fact :)
