Help needed for tattoo quote idea

Hello!

 

I am planning to get the French proverb, 'Hope is the dream of a soul awake,' tattooed on my hip...I have lately been thinking that I would like to get it in French - it just looks beautiful.  Here is the translation I keep coming across:

 

l'espoir est le rêve d'une âme éveillée

 

However, I have seen 'awake,' spelled three different ways:

1) eveillee

2) eveille

3) eveil

 

Can someone tell me what the correct translation of this would be?  I do not want to have a mis-spelled tattoo!

éveillée has to be correct since âme is a feminine noun.
