Hi,
Un chêne (singular), des chênes (plural)
Ok here's my problem...I have 2 Epagnuel Bretons with their registered name as "de la Cheneraie" is this correct for meaning "of the oak trees"?
Thanks

I think "chêneraie" is a plausible-- though probably rare-- word of French. However, the meaning would be more "oak grove"-- i.e. referring to the collection of oaks / land where oaks are grown rather than the actual trees themselves.

Hope that helps!

Neil
This really helped..Thanks so much!
