Please does anyone know what this phrase means?  This is the whole sentence from a piece in La Manche Libre which I get on Facebook:

N'oubliez pas, aujourd'hui et demain, les Restos du Coeur vous filent un rencard pour ceux qui n'ont plus rien !

I've found both 'filer' and rencard/rancard in my dictionary, but not together, and I can't work out what this means!

Thank you,

Jackie

Hello

It means "donner un rendez-vous" = "to fix an appointement"

and here,  Les Restos du Coeur wait everyone in supermarkets, they have volunteers who wait people : when people do shopping, they buy something more and give it to Les Restos du Coeur ' s volunteers

Merci, Chantal!
