Hi, If I want to say 'every day' in French would it be chaque jour or tous les jours?

You could use either.
I would say that "chaque jour" sounds a bit more "strict" than "tous les jours" and it would depend on just how you wanted it to sound.
I have found an old conversation (2004) on another website that covers this topic exactly.

Brilliant! Great reply; very helpful. Thanks a lot :)

I like to think of this situation and my usage reflect it as tous les jours = every day and claque jour = each day.  It's a distinction I make in my own mind.
