Eh? Bâton de fenêtre ?

I was listening to un français speaking about a window.  I believe I heard him say "bâton de fenêtre" but I'm unsure.  Later, I tried finding the definition on the web without success, which tells me I probably misheard him.  Do you recognize what he may have said?  I'm afraid I can't provide much context.

If  we suppose that the beginning of the sentence is ok  "BA"

and the end is ok too "fenêtre"

so it could be "barreau de fenêtre".

Not impossible, Chantal.  Thank you for the suggestion.  I wonder if that's what he was saying.  Next time I talk with him, I'll try to remember to ask.  I'll let you know what I find out.
