I've heard two ways of pronouncing France by two French people and I know the correct one. i.e. ''Frannce'' and not ''Frarnce''. However I've heard the same amount for Champagne and would like to know the correct pronunciation - and a few other words if possible.

Champagne - I've heard it being pronounced sham-pine and shom-pine-ya.

Prumeac - Don't know how to pronounce it.

Ardinat - Again don't know.

Cognac and Armagnac - I pronounce it the stereotypical way but would like to know if there is a correct way.

Thanks.

The combinations an and am are basically pronounced the same: see the section on nasalised vowels. So the vowel in France is the same as in champagne.
