Hi!

I did som exercices on about.com: But some of them I got incorrect, and I dont understand why, I tried to follow the following rules:

Main verb Subordinate verb may change...
A         U
        P         A         S         S         É
Direct speech          «-»  Indirect speech
Présent        or         Imparfait         Imparfait
Passé composé        or         Plus-que-parfait         Plus-que-parfait
Futur        or         Conditionnel         Conditionnel
Futur antérieur        or         Conditionnel passé           Conditionnel passé
Subjonctif Subjonctif
Au présent       no change

Since I got some incorrect while I was adhered to the rules, I wonder if those which I got correst really are correct.

The link below will guide you to the questions(or I have attached the document). It is not as vast as it seems like.

Hello,

yes the corrections are good.

All the items you got wrong are the one from indirect  speech to direct speech.

you have to apply the rule the other way round: if the indirect speech uses the imparfait the direct speech will be in present and vice versa...

Which ones do you maintain are actually correct?

Hi!

I dont understand Your question.

I misunderstood a statement of yours above.

I thought you were saying that you think some of your responses that were marked as incorrect might actually be correct. Never mind!
